Welcome to Elyrion

Jun 10, 2025

World at War

The many nations upon Elyrion vie for their own self-interests, often at each others expense. Territory is fought over, resources are hoarded, and technology is stolen — all for the goal of self-preservation. The lands of Elyrion are in danger from a foreign entity, a plague spreading across the land and consuming all that it touches. Who will survive and find the answer to the impending threat?

Will it be the unifying Republic of Concordia and their diverse melting pot of citizens? Or perhaps the immortal vampires of the Valrath Dominion and their emphasis on the scientific approach? The Tribes of the Verdant Shroud hide within their hectares of living forest, praying that nature will protect them. But no one is safe from the conquering Aetherion Empire, who have taken to the skies and seek to elevate all to the heavens. However, the warlords of the Wyrmscar Peaks will not abide, and their mountain fortresses and are not so easily toppled.

Races of Elyrion

Humans

The dominant race amongst the capital cities of Concordia and Aetherion. Humans have the tendency to spread and adapt and these two nations have found their own way of spreading. Concordians opted for the political approach, bringing together various nations willingly with the promise of a brighter future. The Pope of the Aetherion Empire however… is willing to exert military dominance and air superiority to vassalize other nations, one way or another.

Therians

The anthropomorphic races of Elyrion fall under the Therian category. They include fenrir, felines, kitsune, leporin, dragonkin, and more subspecies. Therians are often more reserved and in touch with their biological tendencies derived from animal heritage.

Vampires & Demons

Vampires and Demons came to be from a "deal with the devil" so to speak. The blood of an ancient primal was infused into their DNA, by the power of experimentation. This is the source of the immortal races that use their long life and strength to keep learning and accumulating wealth.

Sylvans

The Sylvan people are pointy-eared denizens of the Verdant Shroud, focused on protecting their land against intruders. The Shroud contains a wealth of resources that other nations have been eyeing for centuries. But the Sylvans — along with territorial beasts and other tribes — only wish to stave off all invaders and maintain nature's harmonious cycle.

Primals

The ancient gods of Elyrion that used to protect the land millennia ago. Their purpose is unknown, though they are harbingers of great power. A few Primals have been unearthed so far, and entire nations have been built atop them.
