Welcome to our initial roadmap for the Echoes of Astra TCG Organized Play program! As we establish our competitive landscape, our goal is to build an engaging, structured progression for players of all levels. Today, we are excited to reveal the details for our upcoming events, focusing on local-level play and seasonal championships.
Our competitive season operates in distinct tiers, allowing players to build experience, support their local game stores, and earn exclusive rewards as they advance. While larger-scale events like Nationals and Worlds will be introduced as our community and personnel scale, our immediate focus is on creating top-tier experiences at the store and regional level.
1. Locals & Weekly Tournaments (Nov. 18, 2026)
The heart of our organized play community begins at local game stores. Weekly local events are designed to foster a friendly environment where players can hone their decks, test strategies, and meet fellow players. Registered AstraPlay stores can host events using our event software. Currently, player accounts don't earn points, but we plan to add it in the near future to allow for leaderboard tracking.
Format: Casual/Swiss structure, open to all players.
Goal: Community growth, deck testing, and local engagement.
Rewards: Winner Promo cards, Participation promo cards, and store-specific incentives.
2. Store Championships (February, May 2027)
Stepping up from weekly play, Store Championships mark the first major milestone of our competitive roadmap, taking place this February. Hosted by qualified brick-and-mortar stores, these events celebrate top local talent.
Structure: Mid-sized competitive tournament hosted at approved local retail partners.
Victors & Top Finishers: Top competitors earn prestigious champion titles and exclusive promotional rewards.
Rewards: High-tier Winners promo card, participation promos, and store-specific incentives.

3. Dominion Regionals (March 2027)
In March, the competition expands across whole regions with our official Dominion Regional Championships. Designed as larger multi-store or convention-style gatherings, Regionals gather players from surrounding areas to compete for high-stakes prizes. Our first season of Dominion Regionals will cover major player hubs and may require traveling to.
Scale: Large-scale Swiss with top-cut playoff rounds.
Judges & Staff: Supported by dedicated tournament staff and official judges. Unique judge gifts will be granted to staff.
Rewards: Unique Winner Card Promos and Participation Promos. Echoes of Astra merchandise will be available!

Looking Ahead
As our community expands and our operational staff scales up, we look forward to introducing National and World-level championships to complete the tournament ladder. For now, support your local stores all the way through February, teach new players to build your community, and test your skills at Regionals in March!
